My name is Lee, and I’m a third generation Montanan. My mother, Bonnie Potts, is also a photographer. I grew up in a small town located 18 miles west of Bozeman called Churchill where I attended Manhattan Christian School. For my senior project at MCS I animated and edited a 40 minute Lego Star Wars stop motion. In 2017 I started college at MSU Bozeman and graduated with honors in 2021. During COVID I shot and edited a 40 minute documentary called 1-23-03 about three students and their teacher who were killed in a car accident in 2003. 1-23-03 premiered at the Bozeman Film Festival and was aired on PBS in the fall of 2023. In the spring of 2021 I directed a short horror comedy as part of my senior capstone called The Horror of Writing, and in the summer of 2021 I started shooting wedding videos professionally. I've made 8 wedding videos, as well as multiple other videos for websites and business's since then. My passion in life is for filmmaking, and it's something I hope to continue in the southwestern Montana area.
